CARTOON OF THE DAY · SOLONGO

At Last, We Shall Achieve Lasting Peace

Solongo cartoon: a handshake marked Machar and Salva Kiir bridges a gap while people run across; artist signature visible
Artwork by Solongo · Editorial satire. The drawing does not depict a documented new meeting or agreement.

Solongo imagines a handshake bridging a divide. The question for leaders is whether a promise of peace can carry citizens safely across.
