Radio Tamazuj reports that the decrees were broadcast on SSBC on Wednesday night, 21 October.
Angelo Ngot Mayar was named caretaker governor of Warrap, while Hussein Abdelbagi Akol replaced Costello Garang Riiny as presidential adviser for international relations and foreign affairs, the outlets report.
The change follows Lomuro’s 20 October order allocating acting oversight of ministries without caretaker ministers. The sequence does not establish that the order caused his dismissal. No official explanation for the removal was reported.
The immediate administrative question is whether the acting allocations remain in force. A published handover record and clarification from the incoming minister would help ministries understand who can authorise decisions. This is an accountability question arising from the reshuffle, rather than a reported new government decision.
