When It Rains in Juba

Solongo imagines a commuter paddling atop a car on a flooded Airport Road.

A cartoon of a person with a paddle on top of a car in floodwater, beside a sign for Airport Road — Artwork by Solongo. Editorial satire about drainage and the experience of travelling during rain; the drawing is not a photograph or evidence of a particular flood event.

Caption: “When it rains in Juba, Airport Road begins to look like a waterway.”
