FRIDAY, 23 OCTOBER 2026 · CARTOON OF THE DAY · SOLONGO
Two Drivers, No Wheels
Two steering wheels. No wheels on the road. Where does the journey go from here?
A car labelled SPLM-IO sits on blocks, with two people each holding a steering wheel. Our reading of Solongo’s cartoon: rival claims to direction cannot move an organisation whose means of progress have stalled.
The caption and interpretation are by South Sudan Press.
Editorial satire. The drawing expresses an opinion and does not establish a factual allegation.
