At least five people were killed in two attacks outside Bor town over the weekend, according to local government and police accounts reported by Radio Tamazuj on Tuesday. Officials described an incident involving passenger vehicles and another at a farm.

The number and circumstances are still sourced to those local accounts. A location-by-location victim list and police case records would establish whether all five are counted once. Any identification of attackers should remain attributed until evidence is released.

The immediate public questions are whether roads are open, whether wounded people can reach care and whether police have deployed to protect travellers and nearby settlements. Civil society has warned that repeated incidents are worsening local insecurity.
